Vice Mayor Diane Martinez, Council Member Daryl Hofmeyer, and Assistant City Manager Kevin Chun presented the recommended zoning code amendments to the full City Council on Tuesday, December 12.
The Paramount City Council Air Quality Sub Committee met for the tenth time on October 26, 2017 to continue its review and discussion of a draft zoning ordinance for metal companies.
The Sub Committee met on September 28, 2017, to continue its review and discussion of potential regulations for metal companies that could be implemented in the City’s zoning code.
Following its standing plan to meet every fourth Thursday of each month, Paramount’s Air Quality Sub Committee held its eighth meeting on August 31, 2017.
On Thursday, July 27, the City Council Air Quality Sub Committee met for the seventh time since its creation at the end of 2016.
The Air Quality Sub Committee met for the sixth time on Thursday, May 25, 2017.

At the March 23, 2017 Air Quality Sub Committee meeting, members of the public were invited to submit questions to the Sub Committee that would then be responded to and published.
Paramount’s Air Quality Sub Committee held its fourth meeting on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
The City of Paramount’s Air Quality Sub Committee was formed at the beginning of December 2016 with the intention of keeping residents informed on the latest issues regarding South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) activity in town and bringing the entire community together as a team to address these issues.
