Clean water is essential for a healthy community, and understanding the quality of our water supply is vital. Every year, the City produces a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) which offers the public a detailed overview of the City’s water quality, ensuring our residents remain informed of what flows from their tap.
The CCR explains where Paramount’s drinking water comes from, what it takes to deliver water to the community, and the importance of protecting drinking water sources. The report also shows how the City compares with state and federal limits.
Prepared in May, the 2024 report stands as a snapshot of the tap water quality that Paramount provided in 2023. The data shows that Paramount’s water supply meets or exceeds all federal and state drinking water standards. The report is broken down into multiple sections, ranging from information on water sources to helpful water conservation tips.
By prioritizing transparency, Paramount ensures that residents are informed and engaged. The CCR will continue to be a resource the City provides its residents with, as it highlights our ongoing dedication to being a place that is safe, healthy and attractive.
