The City’s second Clutter-Free Paramount of 2019, and third overall, was held on Saturday, June 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Paramount Park. The community-wide cleanup was a chance for residents to responsibly dispose of and recycle large bulky items, e-waste, green waste, documents for shredding, and old tires. During this year’s event we recycled 3.9 tons or about 400 tires!
The very first Clutter-Free Paramount launched at the beginning of last year. The collection event now occurs bi-annually. Below is a table outlining metrics measured since the first one.
Community support continues to aid in the City’s efforts toward a more sustainable future for all Paramount residents. The next Clutter-Free Paramount will be at the beginning of 2020.
