City Announces Formation of Sub Committee
Following South Coast Air Quality Management District’s (SCAQMD) findings of high hexavalent chromium levels in Paramount and ongoing investigations, the City of Paramount has announced the formation of a new City Council Air Quality Sub Committee with two council members: Daryl Hofmeyer and Diane Martinez.
AQMD Release on Pursuing Court Action
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) filed a petition for an Order for Abatement against Anaplex Corporation and Aerocraft Heat Treating Company, Inc. The petition was filed with the independent SCAQMD Hearing Board on November 29, 2016.
