Paramount USD Ambient Air Monitoring Results

The Paramount Unified School District (PUSD) conducted an industrial hygiene survey to measure hexavalent chromium and standard indoor air quality parameters at various schools within the District. The purpose of the ambient air monitoring was to determine if the hexavalent chromium as a source of air pollution from local business is being drawn into various classrooms under typical classroom conditions in excess of the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment’s (OEHHA) No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) of 0.001 microgram per day (ug/day).
