Paramount Celebrates Sustainability for Second Year

The City of Paramount hosted its 2nd Annual Eco-Friendly Fair on Saturday, April 13. The event focused on providing residents and other guests with tips and resources for creating an environmentally sustainable future.

Attendees learned about sustainability, enjoyed music, and took photos with the Easter Bunny. Keeping with the eco-friendly theme, generators used at the event were powered by vendor and Paramount business World Energy’s biofuel.

Paramount gave away numerous prizes throughout the day, including bikes, organic bath kits, organic laundry kits, gardening kits, LA River and 4Oceans giveaway baskets, Brita water containers, and rain barrels. The City additionally gave over 100 fruit trees and 100 succulents to attendees.
